Consider Joining A Christian College
Christian colleges often get dismissed without fair consideration, but they offer compelling advantages that warrant serious exploration – especially for families already considering expensive private universities.
The Affordability Factor
If you're willing to consider private schools costing $75,000-$100,000 annually, why not explore Christian colleges that typically range from $30,000-$40,000? These institutions consistently offer more generous financial aid packages for minority students compared to other private schools, making quality education significantly more accessible.
Beyond Academics: Character Development
Every student who has attended a Christian college through West Angeles' program has gone on to become effective in their careers while knowing how to carefully defend their faith, live with purpose, and build strong families. These schools provide a safe environment where students can grow intellectually without encountering unexpected content in courses unrelated to their studies.
Many students pre-decide against Christian colleges without exploring their options. However, there's nothing wrong with looking and not buying – but there's everything wrong with buying without looking. Even if your student thinks Christian colleges are "boring," spending 15-30 minutes at the fair provides valuable perspective for comparison.

This fair represents an important opportunity for the Black and brown community to access Christian higher education options. Post-pandemic attendance has been challenging as families became accustomed to virtual events, but in-person connections remain invaluable for building relationships with college representatives.
Pre-registering ensures you receive a goodie bag and streamlined check-in upon arrival. The fair takes just 15-30 minutes to experience all 16 colleges.
Bonus: Boise State University will present at 10:00 a.m. before the Christian College Fair begins - attend both events for a complete college exploration experience.
