ABOUT
The L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline internship program connects Angelenos to tech and media careers through our 60+ tech employer partners. We will have around 30 companies signed up to take on PAID interns this summer including Snap, Fox Sports West, Hulu Boingo Wireless, Data360, and many more! We’ve placed 250 Angelenos in paid tech internships in the last two years and 40% of them are now employed in tech roles.

Guidelines:

For consideration you MUST fill out the application (below) completely. Please include: 

1. Resume (one page pdf)

2. A recommendation - Name and email from your college or any organization you’re apart of 

3. Linked in Profile.

Requirements:

1. For employer paid internships: 

   - Over 18 years of age

   - Right to work in the United States

   - Available to work at least 20-hours per week or full-time (up to 40 hours) in the summer
   

2. For City/County of Los Angeles Subsidized internships:

   - 16-24 years of age

   - Resident of the City or County of Los Angeles

   - Qualify as low-income

   - Available to work 20-hours per week

Deadline:

April 1st, 2019

Selection Process:

1. Your resume and application will be reviewed
   

2. If your resume and application looks good, we will follow up and ask you:

   - To schedule a 15-minute screener phone call

   - To schedule a first round interview
   

3. After passing the interview stage of the application process, we will refer you to a tech company for additional interviews.
   

4. All those who secure an internship with one of our employers will be a part of our 2019 L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline Program internship cohort.

• Production

• UX/UI Design

Details:

There are two types of internships that we fill through the L.A. Tech Talent Pipeline:

1. Employer Paid (65% of our total internships)

2. City/County of Los Angeles Subsidized Internships (35% of our total internships)
