Landing A Paid Internship
A good friend shared the EEP website with me and I can’t thank you enough for curating such valuable resources for parents and prospective college students.
Thanks to you, my daughter (a rising college sophomore) is participating in a summer school exchange/internship with Fermilab and Brookhaven lab. This all-expense paid experience in two national physics laboratories has opened up a wealth of knowledge and opportunities that would have otherwise been out-of-reach for her.
She is learning and applying principle of physics with actual scientists. In addition, she is collaborating with students from universities outside of California while earning a weekly $500 stipend for the 6 week program.
She is having an incredible time sightseeing in both Chicago and New York!
Thank you for putting time, effort, and in-person opportunities for our young people. I will continue to share your website with other parents.
