EEP Student Spotlight: Ashton Johnson - Leading the Way!
Guess who's doing amazing things? EEP’s very own Ashton Johnson, an active student in our Summer Program, Homework Club, and SAT Prep – you know, the works. And get this, he's rocking a fantastic GPA at Dorsey High School.
This week, Ashton's getting some well-deserved recognition at Dorsey, and we're not surprised at all. He's not just hitting the books; he's the deputy chief in the fire and EMS magnet program there. Talk about leadership! He's aiming for a perfect 4.0 while also playing baseball, track, and soccer. Seriously impressive.
After high school, Ashton's got his sights set on a four-year college – maybe LMU, UCLA, or USC – with the big dream of becoming a firefighter. He says his mom is his biggest inspiration, and he remembers a trip to a fire station as a kid that really sparked his passion to help people.
Everyone who knows Ashton knows he's reliable, mature, and just a great guy. He even mentors younger students in the EMS program. It's awesome to see how he balances everything – his studies, sports, and leadership – all while staying focused on his future goals.
Ashton's a fantastic example of the kind of driven and compassionate students we have here at EEP. His leadership, academic excellence, and genuine desire to serve his community make him someone to watch. We're so proud to have him in our program and can't wait to see all the great things he'll do! Keep shining, Ashton!
