Become a Peer Navigator: Housing & Resource Support for Your Peers

The Peer Navigator Program is a 360-hour paid opportunity for LA community college students to help their peers navigate and connect with essential resources, including housing, mental health support, employment services, and more.

While there is an emphasis in helping students who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of homelessness, we understand that it's all interconnected.

As a Peer Navigator, you will…

  • Conduct outreach to identify and connect with housing-insecure youth (ages 18-25) in your community.

  • Provide referrals and warm hand-offs for a caseload of at least 30 peers, guiding them to vital support services.

  • Facilitate connections to a wide range of resources, including job training, academic support, housing assistance, financial aid, mental health services, and public benefits.
