Metro Paid Summer Internship
Hands-on paid internship by Metro and TCAP
The Transportation Career Academy Program (TCAP) is now accepting applications for its upcoming summer cohort.
Offered by Metro, TCAP provides paid, hands-on internships for high school juniors and seniors interested in transportation, engineering, planning, and public service careers.
Participants gain real-world experience, professional mentorship, and exposure to career pathways that shape mobility across Los Angeles County. If you know a student who is curious about how major transit projects move from idea to reality, this is a strong starting point.
Applications are open for a limited time, as this is a competitive program.
What to Expect
Mandatory in-person training sessions convene each Friday of the programβs duration from 8:30am β 3:30pm at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (LATTC), in Downtown Los Angeles.
