Life Prep for c/o 2022-26: Distance Learning Continues

Part 1 of our Life Prep Annual Meeting

For classes of 2022-2026

John 5:4

(3) In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, [b]paralyzed, [c]waiting for the moving of the water.

(4) For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.

(5) Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

(6) When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

Questions to Ask About Distance Learning

  • Is DL really going to be Independent Study when student are not in school?  Independent study means work is provided and done by student as a way of learning new material. (Similar to homework – No Teacher direct involvement)

  • Is the DL really going to be videos of persons or maybe the teacher that can be watched any time? (Asynchronous Learning)

  • Or….is DL a Teacher at a prescribed time, teaching as if in classroom with the student but ONLINE with ZOOM or the equivalent. (Most desirable & easiest to follow-up on…)
