Getty Unshuttered Photography Opportunity
Getty Unshuttered invites teen photographers across California from the ages of 13 to 19 to submit original photographs in response to this year’s Open Call theme, “A Spectrum of …”
As always, the prompt is open to creative and artistic interpretation – no prior experience or specific photography equipment required to participate!
A panel of arts professionals will select 25 photographs to win exciting prizes and Getty experiences!
If your work is selected as a winning work, and meets all the requirements, the Getty will provide the following:
Your photograph included in the 2024 Unshuttered online gallery and shared on Getty Unshuttered social media.
Travel reimbursement for a VIP visit to the Getty Center, Los Angeles on one of two offered dates.
A professional- quality print of your photograph.
A Getty gift bag of Getty publications and gifts.
A personal meeting and critique (in person or online) with a photography professional for direct feedback.
Your photograph presented in public art spaces in California, where available.
